Harvest Impact is the social finance loan fund and relational lending platform hosted by 10C Shared Space – the ground-breaking community development hub based in Guelph, Canada.

In 2019 with seed capital from Federal granting agencies, Harvest Impact was born with a mandate to design and build a social impact lending program that would support the transition to a circular economy and receive applications from equity-deserving individuals and organizations with high priority.
Our first loans were made in 2021 and since then we’ve financed and built relationships with more than 30 food, farm and environment enterprises. We can see a difference being made in:
- Waste reduction & recapture
- Water & energy conservation
- Greenhouse gas reduction
- Regenerative farming practices – Shorter supply chains
- Nutritious product development – Decent work
We’ve learned that access to capital is an essential ingredient in the transition of a circular economy.
