Thames River Melons is a family owned fruit and vegetable farm located outside of Innerkip. With the help of friends, neighbours, and community, we grow, harvest, sell a wide variety of produce. Our farm began in 1984 when owner and head farmer Rob decided to experiment and grow one acre of cantaloupe. At the time, growing melons in Ontario was unusual but in the end the risk paid off.

Today we have over 500 acres ranging from rhubarb and asparagus in the spring to strawberries and melons in the summer and squash and pumpkins in the fall. We recently began a line of preserves: jams, jellies, pickles, sauces, and spreads, all made fresh from our produce. We also operate a Farm Market and Pick Your Own (featuring a farm kitchen, farm food truck, and a variety of PYO Crops!), a Farm Market in downtown Innerkip, and attend several local farmers’ markets.
